02Phase one

Before you commit

Point the money at what is actually missing.

01

Strategic Needs Assessment

Know what to build, before you build it.

Before a programme is designed or a CSR budget committed, someone has to answer: what does this community actually need? We combine household surveys, stakeholder consultations and secondary data to rank needs, map gaps and recommend interventions you can defend.

You get: A prioritised needs ranking · village- or cluster-level diagnostics · intervention recommendations with implementation roadmaps · baseline values for future measurement.
Best for: CSR teams planning new geographies, foundations designing programmes, NGOs entering new communities.
Proof

36

4
ready-to-fund interventions

For a pharma company's CSR programme in Indore district, we assessed five villages across education, health, WASH and livelihoods, consulting stakeholders from sarpanchs to ASHA workers, and designed interventions with timelines.

03

Feasibility & Scoping Studies

Test the ground before you commit.

Before capital is deployed, whether into a new geography, a new product, a new FPC, or new infrastructure, someone has to answer: will this work here? We run two-phase feasibility studies: secondary research and site-selection modelling first, then targeted primary fieldwork with every actor who will make or break the intervention.

You get: Composite district- or site-scoring models · willingness-to-pay and demand studies · operator and buyer assessments · technology and design specifications · a clear go/no-go recommendation with conditions.
Best for: Incubators and funders de-risking investments, social enterprises entering new markets, NGOs designing new programmes.

For an incubator, we scored 113 districts of UP and Bihar to select four field districts, then interviewed farmers, traders, FPOs, institutional buyers and officials, producing deployment-ready recommendations for micro cold storage.

04

Value Chain Analysis

Find the leak. Find the leverage.

From farm gate to end consumer, we map where value is created, lost and captured, and where an intervention would move the needle most. We combine mandi-level price analysis, farmer surveys, trader and buyer interviews, and demand-side research.

You get: End-to-end value chain maps · price and margin analysis · loss points quantified · commodity prioritisation · business plans and financial projections where needed.
Best for: FPO/FPC promoters, livelihoods programmes, agri-focused funders and incubators.
Proof

72,000+

For an FPC in Rajasthan, we delivered a five-year business plan with a commodity ladder and government scheme mapping.

While it runs

Measurement that moves with the programme, not after it.

05

Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning

Measurement that runs with your programme, not after it.

One-off studies tell you what happened. MEL systems tell you what's happening, while there's still time to act. We design the measurement architecture at programme start (indicators, theory of change, baselines) and stay engaged through midline reviews, learning briefs and endline evaluation.

You get: Theory of change and indicator frameworks · baseline, midline and endline studies · periodic learning reviews and course-correction memos · donor-ready progress reporting.
Best for: NGOs running multi-year programmes, funders who want a learning partner across a grant cycle, CSR teams managing multi-village portfolios.
Proof

Our CSR baseline in Indore district set measurable starting values across education, health, WASH and livelihoods for five villages, so every rupee spent afterwards can be evaluated against them. For an impact investor, our social performance measurement runs as an annual cycle across the portfolio, not a one-time audit.

06

Data Collection

Reliable data, gathered with rigour.

Already have a research design? We are the field partner. Our own trained enumerators, never outsourced, collect quantitative and qualitative data in 7+ Indian languages using KoBoToolbox/ODK, with in-built quality checks, audio recording and back-checks.

You get: Clean, validated datasets · field supervision and quality protocols · multilingual enumeration · rapid mobilisation across states.
Best for: Research agencies, universities, funders and M&E teams needing a dependable field partner in India.
07

Training & Capacity Building

Content development and delivery that builds internal muscle.

We develop training content and deliver it to teams, from NGO field staff to government officials, in research methods, data use and emerging tools. Every programme starts with a training needs assessment and ends with a post-training evaluation, so the learning is measurable.

You get: TNA-based curriculum design · facilitated delivery in local languages · training materials and facilitator manuals · knowledge-uptake evaluation.
Proof
300+
government officials trained
4
stages: TNA → curriculum → delivery → evaluation

For a district administration in West Bengal, we designed and delivered an end-to-end AI literacy programme.

When you must prove it

Turn results into something a board, a donor or a ministry will act on.

02

Social Impact Assessment

Prove what worked. Learn what didn't.

Whether it's a CSR-mandated third-party assessment or a funder asking hard questions, we measure what changed, for whom, and by how much, using before-after comparisons, treatment-control designs, SROI estimation and social performance measurement frameworks. And for organisations not yet measuring, we design the scaffolding first: theories of change, metrics frameworks and SROI models built for your programme.

You get: Quantified outcomes (income change, learning gains, NPS) · beneficiary voice through IDIs and FGDs · SDG mapping · impact metrics frameworks and ToC design where needed · honest findings, including what didn't work · actionable recommendations.
Best for: CSR compliance reporting, impact investors, NGOs reporting to funders, social enterprises raising capital.
Proof
₹21,615
average saving per farmer
174

2–3.5×
social return, SROI study

Our nine-state impact assessment of a solar wildlife deterrent quantified savings per farmer. Our SROI study of a J&K agri-enterprise, linked to audited financials, established a social return for 1,800 farmers.

08

On-Demand Research

Quick, sharp answers when you need them.

Not every question needs a six-month study. Landscape scans, dipstick surveys, secondary research syntheses, rapid market assessments, delivered in weeks, not quarters, with the same rigour.

You get: Rapid literature and market scans · dipstick field studies · secondary data syntheses · decision memos, not 100-page reports.
Proof

Our market scan for an organic vegetables value chain in Madhya Pradesh gave the client a clear read on demand, pricing and FPO potential, fast enough to inform that season's planning.

09

Knowledge & Communications

Research-backed content that carries your evidence further.

Evidence only changes decisions if it reaches the people making them. We turn research and field data into clear, credible content: impact briefs, thought-leadership articles, donor and board reports, case studies and social content, grounded in your own numbers rather than generic claims.

You get: Impact and evidence briefs · thought-leadership and blog articles · donor- and board-ready reports · case studies and one-pagers · research-backed social media content.
Best for: NGOs and enterprises building a credible public voice, funders communicating portfolio impact, organisations that have the data but not the time to tell its story well.
